Who We Are

Joberg Ghana Foundation is a nonprofit non governmental organization that was founded in 2017 by Joseph Magmus Marteye. As the region’s community foundation The Joberg Ghana unites generous donors, committed individuals and caring residents to support and empower rural citizens in Ghana through large donation, public health and education initiatives.

The foundation’s target this year is to raise
$1.5 million to build 50-100 one-bedroom houses as part of the social housing project for the needy and homeless, mentally derailed and disabled.

      Mr Benjamin Narteh Ayiku, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ledzokuku Constituency in Collaboration with Joberg Ghana Foundation, has broken ground for the construction of a 30-bed ultra-modern polyclinic to serve the people of Teshie and its environ The project, which is valued at 1.4 million Ghana Cedis, is being financed from the MP's Common Fund with support from Joberg Construction and the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, which provided land for the project. This project is a collaboration between Joberg Foundation and Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Ayiku which seeks to expand and provide quality healthcare to the people of the constituency and surrounding communities. Foundation trench dressing and excavation works for foundation pillars have been done. Concrete for foundation pillars has also been casted.

    • CONSTRUCTION OF 6-UNIT CLASSROOM BLOCK AT AFIENYA

      This is a collaboration between the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Hon. Sam Nartey George and Joberg Foundation. This project aims to expand the infrastructure of the school to help reduce overcrowding in the classrooms. This would help massively in providing a comfortable and sound learning environment as well as reduce the spread of diseases.

      The Amanfrom Special ward is being constructed at the Amanfrom Polyclinic in the Greater Accra region. This project aims to expand healthcare services in the community, making them more accessible and affordable for everyone. By addressing the existing gaps in healthcare, we strive to improve the overall well-being of individuals and promote a healthier community. The project is a collaborative effort and joint funding between the Joberg Foundation and the Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshi Amanfro Constituency, Hon. Sylvester Tetteh.

    • CONSTRUCTION OF ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT AT KATAMANSO

      CONSTRUCTION OF ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT AT KATAMANSO As part of our social intervention programme to assist in social housing for the needy, disabled and mentally derailed, this project is being constructed for two families in need. The project is at the stage where division walls are being constructed and final works are expected to be complete by 1st March, 2024. The total cost is GHC120,000 and is solely funded by the Joberg Foundation.
