The Joberg Ghana Foundation has began the construction of ultra modern market stalls in Zuarungu Moshie in the Bolgatanga East Constituency of the Upper East Region of Ghana.
The project was started as part of several charity projects initiated by the non-governmental organisation to build social infrastructure and promote social enterprise in order to alleviate poverty.
Hon. Dominic Akuritingayine, MP for Bolgatanga East proposed the project to Joberg Foundation. When completed, many rural women will have a modern market place where they would trade, earn income and take care of their families without having the need to rent and built their own market stalls.
The project is expected to be completed in three months.
