JOBerg Foundation Hands Over House Keys To Mrs. Kalayi, Winner Of Maiden ‘Taking The Homeless Home Award”
Mrs. Kalayi was presented with a key to a brand new house in Katamaso.
The presentation came off on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the premise of the house located at Katamanso in Accra, and it was all tears of joy for Mrs. Kalayi, a mother of four. Although short, the ceremony was graced by the Board Chairman of JOBerg Foundation, Ambassador Tenkorang, and a member, Ambassador Dr. Mokowa Blay Adu-Gyamfi. Also in attendance were the family members of Mrs. Kalayi and other media houses.
Mrs. Helen Kalayi is the proud recipient of the 2022 maiden edition of ‘The Taking The Homeless Home Awards, which ceremony was climaxed at Homebase TV in Accra.
The awards scheme, which was organised by Joberg Foundation, a non-profit organisation, is aimed at improving the lot of the poor and vulnerable across the country.
The Foundation, in collaboration with mypagegh.com, launched an award scheme dubbed “Put a Smile On The Face Of the Homeless Awards a few months ago targeted at reducing poverty on Ghana’s streets.
