On the 23rd of March, 2024, Joberg Foundation embarked on a communal health screening outreach at Kotoku Village, Akyem Asafo in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Over 300 aged and young persons in the Kotoku Village have benefitted from a free medical health screening exercise and the treatment of various ailments, while those identified with more serious health conditions were referred to the hospital.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to the media said they were constantly afraid for their lives anytime they were ill, due to lack of access to medical care, and thanked the Abuakwa South District Assembly and JoBerg Foundation for the support given them.
